How Can You Make a Difference?
Volunteering Your Time
Our Volunteers are the Backbone of Our Ministry
SAFE is run by volunteers who give a few hours of their day to help those in need. Volunteers can do a multitude of things including stocking shelves, bagging food, handing out bags, interviewing, helping with administrative tasks, doing housekeeping and groundskeeping, writing thank you notes and other important tasks. Whatever special skills you may have, SAFE can find a way for you to get involved.
Some volunteers come every week - others commit one day a month. Each volunteer makes a difference in the lives of the families served at SAFE. Click the links below to sign up!
YOU ARE ALSO WELCOME TO SHOW UP ON TUESDAY OR SATURDAY MORNINGS AT 8:45 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING.

Offering Your Resources
100% of SAFE's support comes from donations from individuals, churches, and businesses like you. You can offer your resources by donating food or giving financially. By donating, you are helping rid Alamance County of hunger, one family at a time. Without the support of the community, SAFE would not be able to keep its doors open. Everyone at SAFE and all the of the families that come through SAFE thank you for your offering.

Offering Your Prayer
Praying for SAFE is one of the simplest ways you can make a difference. The Apostle Paul writes in his letter to the Philippians, "Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Phil 4:6-7).
