Volunteer Spotlight: Morgan Wade

I started volunteering at SAFE at Hwy 87 in October 2025. My favorite part about volunteering at SAFE is interacting with people and seeing the obvious relief on their faces. I really feel like I’m helping people!

If you volunteer at SAFE, you will never expect the type of people who have food insecurity and it is humbling. You feel good knowing people aren’t going hungry. 

I’ve helped at SAFE in the parking lot, bagging groceries, staffing the door, and helping neighbors with their bags!
