Resource Referrals
Sometimes you need more than groceries. SAFE can help you find other resources and services available in our community.
When you visit one of our choice food pantries for a scheduled appointment, a member of our team can talk with you about other challenges you may be facing and help connect you with organizations and programs that may be able to help.
How We Can Help
Depending on your needs and the resources currently available in the community, we may be able to connect you with assistance related to:
-
Housing and shelter
-
Rent and utility assistance
-
Transportation
-
Health and well-being
-
Education
-
Employment
-
Income and benefits
-
Legal services
-
Other basic needs
Please note: Resource referral services are only available to neighbors during a scheduled appointment at one of SAFE’s choice food pantries. You must have a pantry appointment to receive referral assistance.
Looking for Help With Rent or Utilities?
SAFE generally does not provide direct financial assistance for rent, utility bills or other household expenses.
Instead, our team can help you identify community organizations and programs that may have financial assistance available and help you understand how to connect with those resources.
Because funding and eligibility requirements vary among organizations, SAFE cannot guarantee that financial assistance will be available. But you don’t have to figure out where to start on your own.
Need assistance? Schedule an appointment at one of our choice food pantries to get started.
