Our Impact

Every day, SAFE has a significant impact in our community, feeding families and helping people connect to vital resources.

So far in 2025:

SAFE has served over 22,000 individual visits among 1,367 families.
More than 30,000 meals have been distributed through our two choice food pantries.
Food was provided to 221 children through our backpack program, ensuring they had enough to eat each weekend.
More than 60,000 pounds of fresh vegetables and fruits have been distributed in our community.
Nearly 1,000 visits have been made to our nurse clinics.
191 volunteers have donated more than 3,900 hours to help our community.
Nearly 40% of the people SAFE serves are children. Another 36% are elderly.
The majority of the people we serve live in Elon, Burlington or Graham.
