Our Impact

Every day, SAFE has a significant impact in our community, feeding families and helping people connect to vital resources.

So far in 2026:

SAFE has served over 20,000 individual visits among more than 1,00 families.
More than 342,000 pounds have been distributed through our three choice food pantries.
Food was provided to 221 children through our backpack program, ensuring they had enough to eat each weekend during the school year.
Distributed more than 4,000 meals to 447 children in 221 families through our summer feeding program.
Nearly 1,000 visits have been made to our nurse clinics.
191 volunteers have donated more than 3,900 hours to help our community.
Nearly 40% of the people SAFE serves are children. Another 36% are elderly.
The majority of the people we serve live in Elon, Burlington or Graham.
