Volunteer Spotlight: Janice Stone

I started volunteering at SAFE in 2022 after having retired from ABSS as a school counselor. 

My favorite part of volunteering at SAFE: Serving families and empowering individuals through food resources is a gratifying experience/feeling. It offers a tangible way to make a difference in people’s lives and fosters a strong sense of community. 

I am an artist. I mostly draw cartoons and portraits. 

I am originally from Stamford CT

My hobbies are playing basketball, listening to music, and drawing.

Volunteering at SAFE has given me a sense of purpose once again!
