SAFE Launches Swiftie Sourdough Challenge

Taylor Swift is obsessed with sourdough… and so are we!

This summer, SAFE launched a community sourdough program: we give you the starter, and for every loaf you bake for yourself, we ask you to donate two loaves back to help feed our neighbors.

Now, we’re introducing the Swiftie Sourdough Challenge!  Swifties know Taylor’s favorite number is 13 — so, in honor of Taylor Swift and our shared love of sourdough bread, we have set the goal of having 13 loaves donated each day between now and Oct. 3, when her new album The Life of a Showgirl drops.

Starter kits are available at SAFE’s NC 87 location, Mon–Thurs, 8:30 AM–12:30 PM. Let’s make this era about bread + love.
