Meet UNC School of Social Work Practicum Student Meghan Rodriguez

I grew up in Chapel Hill and now live in the Triangle with my husband and two daughters. Prior to starting a Master's of Social Work program at UNC last year, I worked as a Recreational Therapist in parks and recreation and retirement community settings. When not at work or school, I enjoy gardening and spending time with family and friends.

I am excited to join SAFE as a social work practicum student over the coming months. I look forward to connecting with staff, volunteers and neighbors and contributing to the support services that SAFE provides in whatever capacity is most helpful.
