Meet UNC School of Social Work Practicum Student Jada McLeod

I’m excited to join SAFE as a Master of Social Work intern from UNC Chapel Hill. Before graduate school, I worked in program coordination and community education with nonprofit organizations in the Triangle area.

I currently live in Durham but grew up traveling the country as a military brat. In my free time, I enjoy arts and crafts, going on walks, reading, and watching reality TV.

I'm looking forward to working with SAFE this school year, building relationships with local neighbors, and learning more about what makes this community special.
