FOOD PANTRY

Choice Pantry

Food assistance is available for any individual or family who needs it. 

​

SAFE is now a choice pantry, a grocery store style pantry, where our neighbors in need of food assistance can make the choices for their families based on their preferences. 

​

On arrival to the appointment, our neighbors will be introduced to their assigned Community Worker who will work with them to connect them to resources to get them where they want to be in their lives.  Then they will be assigned "points", based on the number members in their family to shop with.

SAFE NURSE CLINIC

SAFE has partnered with the Cone Health Congregational & Community Nurse Program to offer free services to care for your body, mind, and spirit.

​

Services Offered:

  • Health Screenings

  • Blood Pressure Checks

  • Blood Glucose Checks

  • Weigh/BMI

  • Assistance managing your medical care

  • Medication assistance and education

  • Community resources and more!

START WITH 2-1-1

If you need help finding assistance with housing, food, healthcare, utility payments, and more, there is help. 2-1-1 Referral Specialists are available 24 hours a day, every day by dialing 2-1-1 or 888-892-1162 from any phone. The call is free, confidential, and available in any language.

Please note that 2-1-1 is not a service provided by S.A.F.E.
