Choice Food Pantries
SAFE is a choice pantry, a grocery store style pantry, where our neighbors in need of food assistance can make the choices for their families based on their preferences. Food assistance is available for any individual or family who needs it.
On arrival to the appointment, our neighbors will be introduced to their assigned Community Worker who will work with them to connect them to resources to get them where they want to be in their lives. Then they will be assigned "points," based on the number of members in their family, to shop with.
Safe at Hwy 87

Tuesdays, Thursdays, 9:00 am-12 noon
1st & 3rd Saturdays, 9:00 am-11:00 am

Safe at The Bridge
615 W. Harden St. in Graham
Thursdays from 4-6 pm
SAFE will be closed for Thanksgiving from Nov. 21 through Nov. 30 and will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's holidays from Dec. 21 through Jan. 3. Families who would usually have appointments during this time will receive extra food at their last appointment before the holiday break.
Process and Guidelines
To make the process run more smoothly, here are our guidelines for Safe at The Bridge and Safe at Hwy 87 locations:

Please visit one or the other Safe location once every two weeks. For example, if you visit the Safe at The Bridge location on Thursday, August 17th you cannot visit Safe at The Bridge or Safe at Highway 87 until two weeks later on Thursday, August 31 or after. You will be able to set up your next appointment while at Safe.

Please bring the following for each visit:
1. Your Second Harvest card
2. The "Safe Next Visit" card
Due to increased demand and a growing waitlist, SAFE is implementing a new attendance policy. Clients who miss three appointments without providing at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule will be removed from our client list and added to our waitlist.
