Community Bread Program
Bread is about more than flour and water. Throughout history, the sharing of bread has symbolized life, community and hope for a better future. Can you commit to providing two loaves of bread a week for your neighbors?
How It Works:

SAFE will provide sourdough starter to anyone interested in participating in the Community Bread Program. It can be picked up at our NC 87 location Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

You provide the flour, water and other ingredients needed to make your favorite sourdough bread recipe.

Wrap the bread and bring it back to our NC 87 location, where it will be distributed as part of our Choice Food Pantry.
