SAFE operates three food pantries in Alamance County. Two of our pantries—SAFE on NC 87 and SAFE at The Bridge—are choice food pantries, meaning individuals and families shop for the food they want. Our third pantry—SAFE at Snow Camp—provides families with prepackaged boxes of the same foods available at our other locations.

To help us better meet the needs of families, SAFE sees individuals and families at all three food pantries by appointment only.

Our food pantries serve families at the following times:

• SAFE on NC 87 — Tuesday and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon and the first and third Saturdays of each month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

• SAFE at Snow Camp — Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

• SAFE at The Bridge — Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

While we do our best to schedule people for their preferred day of the week and location, some times and sites have greater demand than others. If it will be more than 2 weeks before we are able to schedule you at your requested day and site, we will offer you an appointment at a different location.
