Well Testing

Following the flooding of the Haw River in July of 2024, 50% of tested wells have been positive for E.coli.  If your well was affected by recent flooding, get your water tested for free to ensure it's safe to use.

SAFE, in partnership with Haw River Assembly, will be offering FREE well testing to help protect the health of our community.

  • Tuesday, July 22, 9am until noon at SAFE, 5950 Hwy 87 S, Graham

  • Tuesday, July 22, 3pm until 6pm at The Bethlehem Farmers’ Market, Mebane

  • Thursday, July 24, 9:00 AM – noon at SAFE, 5950 Hwy 87 S, Graham

How It Works:

  • Pick up a water testing kit at our drive through distribution tent.

  • Fill the kit and return it before the distribution site closes for accurate results.

  • Stay in your car – follow the signs and use the drive-through. Please do not park.
