Does your child receive free or reduced lunches at school? SAFE's Summer Backpack Program aims to reach families who rely on free & reduced school lunches during the school year and who may need a little help during the summer months. Each Thursday until August 17th, the SAFE van will be at the Eli Whitney Recreation Center from 9-11 AM for kids up to age 18. Each week, SAFE is offering milk, bread, eggs (fruit and snacks when available). We are also distributing $25 Food Lion gift cards. We also have summer fun activities available, so please bring the kids, park, and enjoy!
